The security of your personal data is very important and I have set out the following guidelines in order to comply with the new General Data Protection Regulation.
The data I hold as a ‘Sole Trader’ consists of names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and allergy and colour/product information. The information is only kept by myself in paper form, which is locked up securely, and stored in secure salon software such as ‘Timely’ and ‘Hair Assist’ in order to provide hairdressing services and sell hair and beauty products to clients.
To comply with hair colour patch testing I use Colourstart in order to provide safe and efficient patch testing for my clients. Please see their privacy policy here; https://colourstart.com/privacy-policy. Please express your wishes if you DO NOT wish your details to be shared with ‘Colourstart’.
Other than the 3rd parties mentioned, your data is not shared with anyone else and is only kept for 1 year from your last appointment. If there has been no contact within 1 year all personal data is destroyed or removed
